36 days of Type
This project was conceptualised to raise awareness about the right to education among the underprivileged children in India. In collaboration with a Non Profit called Donate an Hour I interacted with a few children between the age-group of 3 - 13 and asked them what they'd like to be when they grew up. Their corresponding dreams and aspirations were then illustrated onto the English Alphabet.

CONTEXT AND PROCESS
We spend most of our time today on social media platforms. For a lot of us, it also inspires, educates and makes the world a smaller place. Annual participant driven projects such as 36 days of type on Instagram provide a global platform for user-generated content to have a widespread reach and engagement making it an ideal project to say something bigger.
The older children (ages 7 and above) wrote down responses on a piece of paper. The responses from the younger children (ages 6 and below) were recorded and documented. The children were photographed with a blank board, onto which the illustrated letters corresponding to their dream occupation was later created. Conceptualization and sketches for each of the letters in the English Alphabet.
